Tutorials
If you have a love of teaching, or enjoy sharing what you've learned with other artists, you should submit a tutorial. Your tutorial can be on how you prepare for Artist Alley, create your display/merchandise/business cards etc. Or it can be an art tutorial, you could make it a general tutorial like, How to paint with Water colors/ How to use layers in photoshop/ how to draw facial expressions etc. Or you can make a specific tutorials like how you draw a specific character/ how to create a monster/ how to make a donut out of polymer clay etc. |
2 Types of Tutorials
Video Tutorials
Record your tutorial! Post your video to Youtube (I can only post videos from Youtube). In the description of your video please give Conquer Artist Alley permission to share your tutorial. Make sure your video is set to public.
Send me an email at [email protected] with a link to your video. Title your email "Video Tutorial Submission".
Image and Text Tutorials
Take pictures or Screenshots of your process and write about what you are doing, explaining the process you are working through. Visuals are extremely helpful to the learning process, especially for artists. Do not combine your images and text into one big image. If the text is included in the image it becomes unsearchable by Google, and makes it more difficult for people to find when searching the internet.
How to Submit the images and Text for your tutorial: Send me an email at [email protected] with the text and images. Title your email "Tutorial Submission".
